THE ORGANISING committee of Bridport Hat Festival 2010 asked me to film the mass hat wearing in Bucky Doo Square, and so I did. It was a very very good event, and it was great fun to see so many people striding around town wearing some extraordinary headgear.
Roger Snook and his team have done themselves and Bridport proud.
As for myself, I’d like to thank Chris Huxley for holding open the triple-glazed upstairs window that I filmed from, so saving me and my hat from decapitation.
