Not long ago, one stopped off at our local watering hole – the stream at the bottom of The Enchanted Village. After taking on more water, it chugged up through the Square and let off a few toots, with a small tributary of squealing children running in its wake.

I sat with a glass of medicine in my hand and watched a parade of these vehicles returning from the green at West Bay to the site of this piece. A fascinating sight. They are all enthusiasts for their engines and vehicles – not chaps to get chatting in the local watering hole.
